Dominos ‘Spanish Sizzler’ was shot on the Arri Alexa and Phantom cameras.

In order to facilitate the Final Cut Pro offline process, the footage was converted to Apple Pro Res files. Nice Biscuits has a Wiretap Gateway, which is the latest software that allows us to ingest the Pro Res files directly from the client’s hard-drive – meaning there was no need to spend time converting the data to DPX sequences.

The rushes were graded on-board the Smoke, where Paul also colour-corrected the tomato sauce. He patched in some missing sauce on a bald spot of the pizza, and then built the end frame from supplied elements, adding lens flares.
