Above + Beyond asked Nice Biscuits to grade the short film they created to promote LOVEFILM’s sponsorship of the premiere of “The Look Of Love”, Michael Winterbottom’s biopic of Soho legend Paul Raymond.
Above + Beyond’s short film was directed by Danny Vaia through GLP Films and was shot on a handheld camera, guerrilla style. A mixture of physical props and tracked-in motion graphics was used to change the “landscape” of Soho. Nice Biscuit’s colourist Martin Southworth, produced the gritty grade to create the feel the agency wanted for the film.
